Now when I look around the internet porn scene, it is cluttered with ads. I understand ads and I know they have a place in the online porn world, but there are some real deal breakers. First, do we really need to have pop-ups and redirects? I mean, we ultimately just want to watch some porn so being delayed can be quite annoying, especially the amount of porn I watch. I am totally cool with static ads, you can put a banner(or 2) on the side or underneath the video, no problem. However, when I click on the play button and 2 or more popups blast my screen and I’m then redirected to another webpage, that’s too much. Some of these sites are so bad, watching porn is irritating to the point of you can’t get any real momentum(if you know what I mean) Now, don’t get me started on mobile- an absolute bunch of bullshit! When you click on a mobile site porn video, you may get repeat popups and multiple redirects until you just can’t take it anymore, you give up and close your browser.
I’ve now been working on my Japanese Porn site for a few months now and I’m getting better at finding better ways of presenting you(the visitors of my site) cleaner porn. My goal is to figure out the optimal way of having porn on my site so that you have a easy viewing experience with the least amount of delays(ads, pop-ups, etc) Just know that I am NOT responsible for any of the pop-ups or redirects that come from the videos on my website. I also pledge to you all that I will NEVER personally install any kind of pop-up or redirect on my website at any time now or in the future. Now the only way I can guarantee zero ads is to host the content on my own servers, but unfortunately that is something I won’t do because of the potential high costs and legal issues that come with that decision. Still, hang in there and I will do everything I can(within my own abilities and education) to give you the best possible viewing experience. I want to make sure I note that in the future I may be open to having my own ads, but they will be static or banner type ads only.
What can you do to combat these ads? For me, I use a simple ad blocker and popup blocker. For chrome, AdBlocker Ultimate and Pop-up blocker for Chrome seems to do the trick for now. You can use a number of different extensions that will get the job done too. Simply check around and see how your viewing experience changes when you use these extensions. Before I go, let me just say that there are sites out there that have ad-blocker detection and they won’t even let you see anything unless you disable your extensions. Imagine that, for me that is where I draw the line. I won’t ever visit a site that blocks their content unless you remove your ad blocker. Just my personal preference, I’m no hater.
